Job description

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Purchasing Officer, and within the limits of the established hotel policies and procedures.


•      To ensure the smooth, efficient and hygiene operation of all stores. Issuing of cleaning materials, stationery, disposable materials, and all food items 

•      To order all items against written purchase requests from the department head concerned

•      To see that all orders are made through the Purchasing Officer and that all relevant documentation is in place.

•      To be involved in stock takings

•      To check for the receipt of goods to control quantity, weight and prices

•      Controls and directs any suppliers or visitors coming in the premises

•      Be aware of firefighting, evacuation and security procedures

•      Be aware of the hotel’s conservation of energy saving policies

•      Co-operates with the team and members of management and be supportive and loyal to the company

•      Meets any other request given by the Purchasing Officer, Financial Controller, Operations Managers or the General Manager


•      A good standard of education

•      Fluency in English 

•      Be computer literate

•      Has previous working experience on this field will be considered as an advantage

•      Able to work on his/her own initiative and take decisions when not supervised

•      Willing to work flexible hours including weekends
