Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Front Office Agent to join our team at the Verdala Wellness Hotel - AX Privilege. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service, coupled with strong communication and organisational skills. As a Front Office Agent, you will be responsible for managing the front desk, ensuring that all guests receive a warm welcome and efficient service. You will also handle guest inquiries, reservations, and administrative tasks, while promoting a positive work environment that encourages professionalism and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for all guests.
- Keep the reception area clean, organised, and welcoming. Ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are available and well-maintained.
- Adhere to established protocols for reception duties to ensure consistency and efficiency in guest service and room management.
- Regularly inspect the reception area and lobby to ensure they are tidy, well-organised, and inviting for guests.
- Provide information and assistance regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions, creating a personalised and enjoyable experience for guests.
- Notify relevant departments promptly about any issues or maintenance needs related to guest rooms or reception areas.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including handling guest information with confidentiality and following privacy standards.
- Respond to guest requests and concerns courteously and promptly, aiming to enhance their overall experience and satisfaction.
- Keep track of guest feedback and service performance, suggesting and implementing improvements to maintain high standards of guest service.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in using office equipment and reservation systems.
- Experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel environment and/or a Forbes Travel Guide-rated establishment is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the same position is required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
- A friendly, professional demeanour with a focus on guest satisfaction.
