Security Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Security Officer to join our team at Verdala Wellness Hotel-AX Privilege.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our property, staff, and guests. This role is critical in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment while upholding the highest standards of vigilance and professionalism.

Requirements:

• Patrol the premises to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, or disturbances promptly and professionally.
• Monitor access points and enforce security procedures to prevent unauthorised entry.
• Report and document any incidents or suspicious activities.
• Provide a friendly yet professional security presence for guests and staff.
• Inspect and maintain security equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
• Follow safety protocols and assist with evacuations or first aid when required.

Responsibilities:

• Previous experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or customer-focused setting.
• Strong knowledge of security procedures, surveillance systems, and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail in monitoring and reporting incidents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in the same position is required.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
