As a Food and Beverage Operative, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences, where you will ensure smooth daily operations, uphold high standards of service, and contribute to the success of the restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding food and beverage service to guests in accordance with our restaurant’s high standards.
- Welcome and assist guests, offering menu recommendations and ensuring an engaging dining experience.
- Take and process orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, station, and service areas.
- Handle customer queries, feedback, and special requests professionally.
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Operate coffee machines and maintain them to the highest hygiene standards.
- Remain informed and updated about different coffee beans, brewing techniques, and latte art.
- Serve a selection of wines, cocktails, and other beverages in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and company policies.
- Assist in setting up and closing service areas, including restocking and cleaning.
- Always maintain a professional and positive attitude.
Requirements:
- Fluent in spoken English
- Capable to work on their own initiative
- Excellent grooming standards
- Previous experience in a restaurant, preferably in a fine dining or Bib Gourmand setting.
- Strong knowledge of food service, beverage preparation, and barista skills.
- Excellent communication, organisation and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
