Job Summary
Revive Physio & Aquatic Centre is an integral part of AX Care, working closely with both Simblija Care Home and Hilltop Gardens to offer a comprehensive range of physiotherapy and rehabilitation services to residents and outpatients alike. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life and independence of those in our care through innovative, person-centred treatment plans delivered in a modern and supportive environment.
We’re now seeking a dynamic and commercially aware Head of Physiotherapy to lead our team, champion clinical excellence, and drive the continued growth of our services.
As Head of Physio, you will take the lead in the clinical and operational management of the physiotherapy team at Revive. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care, while also playing a key role in developing service offerings across Simblija Care Home, Hilltop Gardens, and outpatient care. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the physiotherapy team across inpatient and outpatient services
- Oversee the delivery of exceptional clinical care in both physiotherapy and aquatic therapy settings
- Collaborate with care teams at Simblija Care Home and Hilltop Gardens to support integrated, person-centred rehabilitation pathways
- Ensure regulatory compliance, clinical governance, and continuous service improvement
- Manage departmental planning, budgets, and resource allocation
- Foster staff development through coaching, supervision, and ongoing training initiatives
- Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes, patient feedback, and departmental KPIs
- Identify and implement opportunities for innovation in therapy services
- Drive business development by identifying growth opportunities and new service offerings
- Monitor departmental performance and implement strategies to increase efficiency and revenue
Requirements:
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role
- Experience in both musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation, ideally including aquatic therapy
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- A proactive, collaborative approach to multidisciplinary care
- Familiarity with aged care and long-term care settings is a strong advantage
