Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patients’ physical conditions, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, and supporting their recovery and long-term mobility. This role requires excellent clinical skills, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare or wellness setting.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and enhance movement to improve patients' overall health and well-being.
- Perform comprehensive physical assessments to evaluate each patient’s condition.
- Diagnose physical dysfunctions and functional limitations across various systems, including neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and respiratory.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
- Administer a range of interventions such as exercise therapy, manual therapy, and electrotherapy - tailored to each patient's needs.
- Guide and motivate patients through rehabilitation exercises, hands-on therapy and patient education.
- Assist patients in improving mobility, including gait re education, balance training, and safe transfer techniques.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
- Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and long-term physical health maintenance.
- Instruct patients in safe movement techniques and proper body mechanics.
- Promote overall health and wellness by advising individuals on injury prevention and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT).
- Valid physiotherapy license/registration with CPCM.
- [1–3] years of experience preferred. Experience in MSK physiotherapy is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, movement science, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple patients.
- Proficiency in physiotherapy software and electronic health records is a plus.
- Experience with elderly care, post-operative rehab, or chronic condition management is valued.
- Experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports injury rehabilitation and neuro re-habilitation is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Good manual therapy and clinical reasoning skills.
- Patient-centered communication and empathy.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Time management and documentation accuracy.
