Job Summary
AX Hotels Sliema properties are looking for a self-confident individual for the role of Operations Manager in charge of Rooms Division. The day to day responsibilities include ensuring that all Rooms division sections (Front Office, Maintenance and Housekeeping) are in line with all standards and operating procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and processes
- Plan, develop, implement and evaluate the quality of property's guest rooms
- Strive to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department
- Smooth communication between all departments
- Evaluate rosters
- Strive for guest and employee satisfaction
- Achieve targets pertaining to guest expectation and revenues
- Review audits and expenses
- Respond to and handle guest queries and complaints
Requirements:
- Strong background in hospitality and a very good understanding of all rooms division areas
- Has excellent verbal and written English language skills
- Have a flair for managing a busy operation
- Willing to go the extra mile and be committed to ensuring that guests/clients receive a pleasant, efficient, and quality service
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work under pressure and keep calm in difficult situations
