Job Summary
AX Hotels Qawra are looking for Assistant Guest Relations Managers. You will be responsible for the overall well-being of our guests and exceeding their expectations, at every possible opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out all administrative duties in cooperation with Guest Relations Manager
- Pre-check all guest requirements three days and one day prior to their arrival
- Check and liaise with all departments regarding guest requirements and ensure that these are executed promptly and on time
- Conduct daily checks on the VIP lists and order the corresponding activities
- Be responsible for the VIP policy and ensure that it is fully implemented
- Pre-check all VIP arrival rooms and ensure that all rooms are clean and ready upon check in
- Ensure that all guest comments and complaints are attended to and that all complaint reporting is carried out and recorded
- Ensure that all Guest Relations staff are properly trained in conjunction with the training program
- Be fully conversant with all hotel activities and promotions
- Maintain strict personal hygiene and appearance
- Ensure good cooperation and regular exchange of information with all departments, such as the Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Maintenance and Reservations departments
- Be responsible for maintaining the standards, revise them regularly and guarantee that these are upheld by a targeted training.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Hotel Management or other Hospitality related certificate
- Experience in a similar position for a minimum of 2 years, in a 4- or 5-star environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be a mature, pleasant, courteous, cooperative, and an enthusiastic team player who displays good human relations’ skills
- Talkative, a warm personality, attentive and smartly presentable
- Excellent organisational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft tools
- Ability to work under pressure and committed to delivering high levels of customer service
- Must be flexible in working hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
- Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and the company standards
- Demonstrates a "can-do" attitude.
