Job Summary
AX Care is looking for an Events Coordinator. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional and personalized services to clients. This role involves seamless coordination with various departments to enhance guest experiences during their stay. The Events Coordinator is also responsible for identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities, enhancing revenue generation, and staying proactive in adapting to market trends.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a proactive sales approach, identifying opportunities for revenue generation both within and outside the unit.
- Assist in upselling Food & Beverage and other revenue-generating products.
- Stay informed about market needs, trends, and behavioural changes to develop proactive strategies.
- Contribute actively to achieving Revenue Plan objectives.
- Document all declined business along with reasons for refusal.
- Monitor and record customer feedback and comments.
- Coordinate in-house events effectively.
- Provide clients with accurate event specifications, conduct pre and post-event meetings, host show rounds of unit venues, and offer guidance as needed.
- Coordinate promotional activities sent to our email database.
- Issue event quotes and follow up accordingly.
- Prepare and distribute Function Orders to relevant department heads.
- Coordinate all event-related details (e.g., welcome boards, personalized menus, table place names, table plans, etc.).
- Monitor event billing in collaboration with the accounts department.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year in a similar position.
- Excellent written and communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages is a valuable asset.
- Self-confident, result-driven, and capable of working independently with flexibility in working hours.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of audio/visual equipment, F&B and conference/banqueting setup is a valuable asset.
