Are you passionate about creating extraordinary dining experiences within the heart of hospitality? AX Hotels Qawra is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team!
You will be responsible for overseeing the operational planning of all food and beverage operations, in your respective area, with the primary objective to achieve customer satisfaction through quality service while meeting the financial goals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.
- Drive service quality and customer satisfaction. Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service.
- Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all their concerns.
- Provide optimal customer experience through conflict resolution, creativity and consistently working proactively in delivering high-quality results, and providing thoughtful and anticipatory service.
- Oversee and ensure guest satisfaction for all dining and lounge guests.
- Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training, and appraising talented personnel.
- Encourage two-way communication and nurture an environment of ownership, focused on motivation and teamwork.
- Ensure that all team members are well-versed and trained in all aspects of food and beverage service, including identifying sales prospects and maximizing revenue.
- Be responsible for new employees’ orientation, “on the job” training programs within the outlets.
- Increase employees' morale and provide coaching and feedback.
- Establish targets, KPIs, schedules, policies, and procedures.
- Lead departmental meetings with staff of all outlets.
- Manage compliance with food and beverage hygiene policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years in a managerial role within a multi-outlet, high-volume operation
- Proven management experience in hotel operations within the food and beverage area will be an advantage.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Guest-oriented and service-minded.
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).
- Must be mature, pleasant, courteous, cooperative and an enthusiastic team player who displays good human relations skills.
- Ability to meet financial targets and to work under pressure.
- Must be flexible in working hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
