Job Summary
Are you a visionary leader with a passion for service excellence and operational efficiency? We're seeking a dynamic Operations Manager- Food and Beverage to join our team and spearhead the next chapter of success in the food and beverage department!
As an Operations Manager - Food and Beverage, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the front- and back-of-house operations of AX Hotels Qawra, to achieve customer satisfaction and quality service, while ensuring seamless operations across all F&B outlets.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor guest feedback on Trip Advisor, OTAs, and other channels, to ensure that 9.0 rating is maintained constantly.
- Ensure that the objectives and goals of AX Hotels Qawra are in line with achieving excellent brand positioning and success.
- Establish targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies and procedures.
- Drive service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Provide two-way communication and nurture an environment of ownership with an emphasis on motivation and teamwork.
- Build owner loyalty through proactive communication, setting and managing expectations and delivering solid business results.
- Report to the Management regarding sales results and productivity.
- Handle operations meetings and daily briefings in the absence of the Hotel Manager.
- Ensure full compliance with hotel operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures and service standards.
- Develop and implement career development plans for managers, supervisors and high potential employees
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with significant multi outlet exposure.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Head of department or Food and Beverage Manager.
- Proven track record in leading large teams.
- Guest-oriented and service-minded
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Must be mature, pleasant, courteous, cooperative and an enthusiastic team player who displays good human relations skills.
- Ability to meet financial targets and under pressure.
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
- Must be flexible in working hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
- Up to date with hospitality trends and best practices
- Experience in financial accounting, personnel supervision and problem resolutions will be considered an advantage.
