Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a pivotal role that offers a unique opportunity to oversee and enhance the operational efficiency of our business while leading a dedicated team towards achieving organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the smooth daily front of house operations and inspection of all areas
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards are maintained across all touchpoints.
- Supervise housekeeping, maintenance and support departments to ensure cleanliness,
- functionality and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate interdepartmental communication to maintain seamless hotel operations.
- Oversee F&B service and logistics, ensuring timely delivery, setup, and stock replenishment for
- restaurants, bars, events, and in-room dining.
- Collaborate with F&B management to align service delivery, menu execution, and guest
- satisfaction targets.
- Monitor inventory levels and waste control in line with sustainability and profitability goals.
- Supervise the Purchasing department, ensuring effective procurement practices, cost control, and supplier performance.
- Approve purchase requests and monitor stock levels to maintain operational readiness without
- overstocking.
- Ensure procurement aligns with sustainability and ethical sourcing policies.
- Oversee compliance with Health & Safety, Fire legislation and hotel policies.
- Ensure that HACCP procedures are fully implemented and maintained in all relevant areas.
- Monitor and report on KPIs related to guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, cost control, and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist the Hotel Manager with strategic planning and implementation of operational goals.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial F&B role, preferably in a 4 or 5 star hotel.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of F&B operations and service standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in hospitality management software.
