Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Food and Beverage Service Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for food, hospitality, and customer service, and the drive to support our Food and Beverage team in delivering excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing daily operations across all F&B outlets including restaurant, bar, banquets, and room service.
- Ensure consistent service standards and deliver exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Monitor cleanliness, ambiance, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise, schedule, and support F&B service staff.
- Conduct training sessions for both new hires and current team members.
- Support employee onboarding and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Assist in preparing and managing departmental reports.
- Participate in monthly stock-taking processes and ensure accurate reporting.
- Maintain precise records of payroll and staff attendance.
- Resolve guest complaints and service-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate closely with all departments, particularly kitchen and events teams, to ensure smooth and seamless service.
- Support planning, setup, and execution of events, meetings, banquets, and other functions.
- Ensure all F&B departments follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Deliver ongoing training to staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory F&B role, preferably in a hotel environment. Prior experience in a similar position will be considered an asset.
- Smart, professional appearance with strong attention to detail.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills are essential.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and hotel management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong leadership capabilities and team management skills.
- Willingness to handle outside catering functions as required.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
- In possession of a valid driving license, preferably including category C1.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
