Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Coordinator to support the Sales Department, with a particular focus on the MICE ((Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions)) and Corporate segments. This role involves managing client enquiries, maintaining accurate sales records, coordinating room and event space bookings, and assisting with site inspections. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality sales or administration, excellent communication skills, and a strong eye for detail. A client-focused mindset, the ability to multitask under pressure, and a collaborative approach are essential for success in this dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Sales Department, particularly in MICE and corporate segments
- Manage incoming enquiries (email/phone) from MICE/corporate clients, ensuring timely responses and directing complex queries appropriately
- Maintain and update CRM and sales databases, logging enquiries, bookings, offers and follow-ups accurately
- Coordinate room blocks and event space reservations via internal systems, liaising with Reservations and Revenue teams
- Assist with site inspections, collaborating with Sales Managers to inspect venues and verify suitability for clients
- Monitor competitor offerings and industry trends, providing insights to the sales team for strategic positioning
- Compile reports for the Sales Managers
- Handle general office duties
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a sales or administration role within hospitality is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience of PMS will be seen as an advantage.
- Ability to multitask effectively under pressure, working closely with internal teams
- A proactive and client-focused mindset, with solid problem-solving ability
