Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Executive to play a key role in supporting and delivering HR functions across our organisation. This position involves working closely with various teams to ensure compliance, smooth daily operations, and alignment with company goals. You will also be responsible for fostering strong communication, employee engagement, and adherence to best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and update job descriptions, employment contracts, and internal HR documents in line with legal and company standards.
- Manage end-to-end onboarding for related hires.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing confidential advice and support.
- Maintain accurate HR records including personnel files, time-off data, and contracts.
- Assist with payroll preparation, time and attendance tracking, and liaising with payroll teams.
- Support HR initiatives such as training, performance management, and compliance audits.
- Stay up to date on Maltese labour laws, health & safety requirements, and industry-specific HR practices.
- Handle employee relations cases in line with policies and legal requirements.
- Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, CV screening, and interview coordination.
- Contribute to employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Provide administrative support for learning and development, disciplinary processes, and internal communications.
Requirements:
- Qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–3 years’ experience in an HR role with a focus on recruitment and/or employee relations.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of Maltese labour law and legislation.
- Familiarity with HR systems and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
