Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive, organised and service-oriented Events & Sales Coordinator to join our team at our Wellness Hotel. The role involves managing all aspects of events and group enquiries—from initial contact and quoting, to site visits, coordination and follow-ups. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality and wellness, possess strong communication skills, and be adept at balancing administrative responsibilities with guest-facing interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to all events and group enquiries via email, phone, or in person.
- Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and contracts in line with hotel guidelines and pricing structures.
- Conduct client show rounds and site inspections of the hotel and wellness facilities.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all wellness offerings and tailor proposals accordingly.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through a personalised and consultative approach.
- Liaise with clients to confirm event details, requirements, and preferences, ensuring expectations are clearly understood.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless planning and execution of events.
- Attend and support events when required, acting as the primary point of contact for clients on the day.
- Assist in the preparation of event function sheets, agendas, and relevant documentation.
- Ensure wellness principles are integrated into event experiences where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, bookings, and client communications using the hotel’s system.
- Follow up on leads to support a healthy conversion rate from enquiry to confirmation.
- Contribute to regular reporting and forecasting activities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or event venue.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
- Confident in handling client interactions and managing expectations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales software
- High attention to detail with a client-centric approach.
- Knowledge or interest in wellness and holistic hospitality is an asset.
