Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of hotel standards and apply them consistently in daily operations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for guests, ensuring prompt and professional handling of requests and complaints, while documenting all relevant details.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and in line with company standards.
- Contact arriving guests, ensuring their satisfaction and taking appropriate action on any feedback received.
- Maintain strong relationships with tour operator couriers and group leaders.
- Accurately record wake-up calls, newspapers, guest messages, and faxes.
- Promote hotel sales initiatives and all in-house facilities to guests.
- Monitor and assist with functions and events taking place in the hotel.
- Ensure smooth shift transitions through proper handover procedures and completion of all checklists and task lists.
- Assist in checking VIP arrival rooms and conduct spot checks prior to guest arrivals.
Requirements:
- A good standard of education.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in another European language will be considered an asset.
- Strong computer literacy and experience using hotel management systems.
- Proven experience in Front of House operations.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions when unsupervised.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays.
