Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable Maintenance Supervisor to manage our hotel's maintenance operations. You will ensure facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained, safe, and efficient, helping provide excellent guest experiences and smooth hotel operations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain safe, efficient hotel operations and stay within budget.
• Carry out preventative and responsive maintenance as needed.
• Uphold security and department controls in line with company policy.
• Enforce safety and energy conservation practices.
• Manage water and power supply, monitor costs, and suggest savings.
• Keep technical documents updated and organized.
• Lead by example with high standards, attention to detail, and proactive guest service.
• Work closely with other departments to meet maintenance needs.
• Ensure building systems and equipment last and perform well.
• Set and maintain department service standards.
• Train and motivate maintenance staff to build a flexible team.
• Prioritize safety in all maintenance tasks.
• Stay informed about fire and security protocols; keep emergency equipment ready.
• Build good relationships across departments.
• Take part in training and personal development.
• Deliver excellent service and resolve guest issues appropriately.
• Follow Health and Hygiene policies thoroughly.
• Log security incidents and accidents promptly and report to management.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Fluent in spoken English
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Basic IT proficiency
• Self-motivated and service-oriented
• Maintenance experience preferred
• Works independently and efficiently in fast-paced settings
• Able to handle manual tasks, such as lifting and moving
• Flexible schedule: available for evenings and weekends
