Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and service-driven Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operation of our restaurant and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, an effective team leader, and passionate about delivering high-quality hospitality.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations and service delivery.
• Supervise, train, and motivate the front-of-house team.
• Manage staff scheduling and task allocation.
• Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness, set-up, and ambience.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Assist with inventory control, ordering, and cost management.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen team for smooth service.
• Act as the leader on duty in the Restaurant Manager’s absence.

Requirements:

• Degree in Hospitality Management or relevant experience.
• Experience in a supervisory or assistant management role.
• Forbes Travel Guide experience is an asset.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and guest-service focus.
