Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and service-driven Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operation of our restaurant and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, an effective team leader, and passionate about delivering high-quality hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations and service delivery.
- Supervise, train, and motivate the front-of-house team.
- Manage staff scheduling and task allocation.
- Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism.
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness, set-up, and ambience.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Assist with inventory control, ordering, and cost management.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen team for smooth service.
- Act as the leader on duty in the Restaurant Manager’s absence.
Requirements:
- Degree in Hospitality Management or relevant experience.
- Experience in a supervisory or assistant management role.
- Forbes Travel Guide experience is an asset.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and guest-service focus.
