Security Officer

Job Summary

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the organization`s personnel, property, and assets. This role involves monitoring premises, enforcing security policies, responding to incidents, and maintaining a secure environment in accordance with company procedures and legal regulations. The Security Officer will also perform routine patrols, operate security equipment, report and suspicious activities, and assist in emergency situations to safeguard the organization.

​Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and controlling access to facilities.
• Conducting regular security patrols and inspections.
• Responding promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
• Maintaining accurate logs and reports of daily activities and irregularities.
• Ensuring compliance with security protocols and safety regulations.
• Collaborating with law enforcement or emergency personnel when required.

​Requirements:

• A good standard of education.
• Possession of a valid security licence.
• Computer Literate.
• Fluency in English Language.
• Be smart in appearance and of a strong character.
• Able to work on his/her own initiative.
• Has a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position.
• Available to work on shift basis, including evenings – Monday to Sunday.
