Job Summary
We are seeking a results-oriented Marketing Manager to lead daily marketing at AX Hotels Qawra, managing a small on-site team and collaborating with Group Marketing at Head Office. Based at AX ODYCY hotel, this role plans and executes marketing strategies to boost brand visibility, customer engagement, and business growth across all channels, working closely with cross-functional teams. This role requires a balance of strategic mindset, creative input, and operational efficiency to drive marketing initiatives for our AX Hotels properties in Qawra, in line with the AX Group’s vision.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of hotel and F&B brands.
- Develop business cases for the brands’ marketing programs in line with the approved marketing plans.
- Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments with a focus on achieving revenue and profit targets and driving overall growth and awareness for our signature brands.
- Develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns aligned with revenue goals and brand awareness targets.
- Create and manage content calendars, produce engaging content, and run social media strategies across major platforms.
- Coordinate organic/paid content and events to increase reach and follower growth.
- Drive collaboration with different stakeholders such as operations, sales, ecommerce, administration whilst leveraging the right internal processes
- Oversee and approve marketing collateral in various forms across the various brands of AX Hotels – Qawra, both online and on premise.
- Coordinate brands’ presence within an organised social media calendar, lead generation campaigns and performance analysis of mentioned campaigns.
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.
- Keep up to date with the latest emerging AI trends, social media algorithms and design best practices
Requirements:
- 5+ years in marketing management; hospitality experience preferred.
- Based in Malta with local experience.
- Expertise in brand management, digital marketing, and multi-brand project oversight.
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple brands, projects and deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, collaborative environment, with an agile and solutions-focused approach.
