Design Architect

Job Summary

AX Group is seeking a Design Architect to join its AX Development team and contribute to high-quality architectural projects across the Group.

In this role, you will support architectural design from planning through to detailed design and execution, assisting with drawings, tender documentation, presentations, and site activities. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and well-organised CAD drawings
• ​Translate design concepts and sketches into detailed technical drawings
• ​Assist with planning and tender documentation
• ​Prepare schedules for materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting
• ​Conduct site surveys, measurements, and scaled sketches
• ​Compile presentations and visual material
• ​Liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal teams
• ​​Assist with site supervision, quality control, and project documentation

Requirements:

• ​Master of Architecture (Architecture and Urban Design) or related qualification
• ​A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the field. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate previous experience in interior design.
• ​Proficiency in AutoCAD
• ​Experience with 3D modelling and rendering (Lumion preferred)
• ​Familiarity with DC15, sanitary regulations, and accessibility standards
• ​Strong design flair and attention to detail
• ​Knowledge of construction materials and specifications
• ​Good visual and verbal communication skills
