Job Summary
We are looking for an IT Helpdesk Support professional to join our IT Department at AX Group. The selected candidate will play an important role in providing technical support across the company, ensuring that all IT systems, devices and services operate efficiently and in line with established service levels.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure work is carried out within agreed service levels and according to IT procedures and guidelines.
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain IT equipment, network devices and other IT systems.
- Support and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, desk phones, mobile devices, and another IT inventory.
- Resolve support requests via the JIRA Service Desk; escalate issues as necessary.
- Document technical issues and solutions for future reference.
- Assist with evaluation, purchasing and installation of IT hardware and software.
- Provide basic end‑user training when required.
- Maintain and update documentation and inventories.
- Identify system improvements and potential changes.
- Perform any other duties as may be required by the company.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Diploma in IT (Computer Systems & Networks) or a similar qualification.
- Working knowledge of Azure Entra and Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of networking and IP telephony.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good command of English.
- Ideally in possession of a Maltese driving licence and own car.
