Heavy Vehicle Driver

Job Summary

Ax Construction Ltd. is currently seeking to expand her team with experience and responsible heavy vehicle drivers. The role involves ensuring, timely, safe and efficient delivery of goods to various construction sites around Malta.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate heavy construction vehicles to transport material, equipment and any other deliveries from stores to constructions site.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Load and unload materials or equipment using appropriate machinery or manual methods.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks on assigned vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and site personal.
• Assist the storekeeper with the preparation of deliveries when needed.
• Assist site supervisors according to the operational needs.
• Refuel, clean and performance basic maintenance on assigned vehicle.
• Any other AD-Hoc tasks as assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• Valid driving license with appropriate endorsements for heavy vehicles(C and CE, together with a Driver CPC)
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a heavy vehicle driver.
• Ability to communicate well in English.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willing to work in the construction environment.
