Kitchen Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Kitchen Technician to join our team, specializing in the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial kitchen equipment in high-demand environments. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the seamless operation of kitchen facilities in various commercial settings, including restaurants, hotels, catering facilities, and large-scale food production establishments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and repair industrial kitchen equipment
• Diagnose faults and carry out corrective and preventive maintenance
• Perform routine inspections to minimise downtime
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to kitchen staff
• Manage tools, spare parts, and maintenance stock
• Be on call for emergency repairs when required
• Work closely with the maintenance team and management

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of industrial kitchen equipment
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• High standard of spoken and written English
• Ability to work under pressure and flexible working hours
