Job Summary
AX Group is seeking a Contract Administrator to join its AX Development team and support the effective management of contracts and commercial documentation across development projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing and finalising contracts, purchase orders and amendments, coordinating contract execution and document control, maintaining accurate contract registers, and tracking contractual obligations, milestones and performance. Working closely with internal teams, consultants and contractors, you will support compliance, risk management, reporting and data analysis to enable informed commercial decision‑making in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and finalise POs, contracts, amendments, and addenda, ensuring they reflect negotiated terms and procurement outcomes.
- Coordinate contract execution, distribution, and version management in collaboration with Document Control.
- Track contract milestones, deliverables, obligations, and monitor contractor performance and compliance.
- Maintain contract registers, renewal schedules, and audit‑ready contract files while ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and procurement requirements.
- Identify contractual risks, escalate issues, and support dispute resolution and claims management.
- Prepare contract performance reports and summaries to support oversight and decision‑making.
- Assist in compiling, reviewing, and managing contracting procedure, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Preparing reports as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and data analysis, to support commercial decision-making.
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to support objectives and deliverables
Requirements
- Ability to ensuring that objectives are achieved collaboratively with other team members and units.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with internal teams, suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Managing relationships with multiple stakeholders including consultants, contractors and internal teams.
- Skill in maintaining organised records of contracts, and correspondence to ensure accessibility and compliance.
- Ability to collect, organise, and analyse data, and create basic reports using digital tools.
- High level of accuracy in data entry, documentation, and record-keeping.
- Ability to adapt to changing needs, prioritise tasks effectively in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle and deliver multiple responsibilities/tasks simultaneously, such as supporting contract administration, and communications.
- Excellent time and quality management.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Willingness to learn, take on new tasks and seek solutions.
- Basic problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and escalate them to senior team members.
