Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional, personalised wine and beverage service to guests
- Assist in recommending wines, pairings, and enhancing the overall dining experience
- Welcome and host guests with professionalism and warmth
- Maintain strong product knowledge and continuously develop wine expertise
- Support the sommelier team in daily service operations and wine handling
- Ensure all hygiene, service, and grooming standards are consistently met
- Collaborate closely with front-of-house and kitchen teams to deliver seamless service
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Previous experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or high-end restaurant service, with a strong passion for wine and gastronomy
- Solid knowledge of wines, grape varieties, wine regions, and food pairing principles
- WSET certification or equivalent wine education is considered an asset
- Excellent communication and guest engagement skills, with the confidence to recommend wines and enhance the dining experience
- Reliable, professional, and able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, with good organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
