Job Summary
At AX Group, we are looking for a strategic and results-driven Head of Procurement to lead procurement operations across our hospitality portfolio. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving cost efficiency, supplier excellence, and consistency across multiple hotel units.
As Head of Procurement, you will oversee all procurement activities across AX Group’s hotels—including Food & Beverage, housekeeping, maintenance, and operational supplies. You will play a critical role in supplier negotiations, cost optimisation, and ensuring consistent procurement standards across the group.
Responsibilities:
- Leading procurement activities across all units and ensuring alignment across departments
- Developing and implementing cost-saving strategies and supplier optimisation plans
- Negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships to drive value
- Monitoring stock levels, contracts, and supply continuity across the group
- Ensuring consistency in pricing, procurement processes, and AX branded items
- Analysing procurement data to identify efficiencies and performance improvements
- Leading purchasing teams and coordinating monthly procurement meetings
- Collaborating closely with General Managers, Heads of Department, and senior leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (MQF Level 6) in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain within hospitality or multi-unit environments
- Strong experience in contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost optimisation
- Solid understanding of F&B, housekeeping, maintenance, and operational procurement
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive efficiencies across multiple units
- Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement tools, and Excel
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead teams and drive alignment across multiple properties
