Job Summary
AX The Verdala is looking for a steady and service‑focused Food & Beverage Supervisor to support the day‑to‑day running of our restaurant, bar, and event areas. This role helps keep the operation organised, ensures guests feel welcomed, and supports the team during service.
Working alongside the Restaurant Manager, you will contribute to a well‑run environment where guests enjoy a consistent and pleasant experience. The focus is on keeping things flowing smoothly, supporting the team on shift, and helping maintain the standards that represent AX The Verdala.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily F&B outlet
operations and ensure smooth service across restaurant, bar, and banqueting.
- Communicate and delegate tasks to
team members to maintain service flow and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with brand
standards and uphold a consistent guest experience.
- Manage guest queries promptly and
professionally, resolving issues efficiently.
- Represent the needs of the team
and support a positive working environment.
- Assist F&B Management with
financial targets through effective cost control and upselling.
- Support training and development
of team members, ensuring service standards are met.
- Assist with annual and mid‑year
appraisals for team members under your supervision.
- Ensure compliance with health,
safety, fire, and security regulations at all times.
- Maintain environmental awareness
and support sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments
to ensure smooth operations and strong working relationships.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a 5‑star hotel or high‑quality outlet.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
- Strong leadership skills with the
ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills for effective interaction with guests and staff.
- In‑depth knowledge of F&B service
standards and operational procedures.
- Ability to handle guest inquiries
and resolve issues efficiently.
- Exposure to all areas of F&B
service is an asset.
