Job Summary
As an Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will
support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the
restaurant, bar, and banqueting areas. You will lead the team on shift, ensure
high service standards, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, and contribute to the
smooth and efficient running of all F&B outlets. You will also assist with
training, performance management, and compliance with health, safety, and brand
standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily F&B outlet
operations and ensure smooth service across restaurant, bar, and banqueting.
- Communicate and delegate tasks to
team members to maintain service flow and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with brand
standards and uphold a consistent guest experience.
- Manage guest queries promptly and
professionally, resolving issues efficiently.
- Represent the needs of the team
and support a positive working environment.
- Assist F&B Management with
financial targets through effective cost control and upselling.
- Support training and development
of team members, ensuring service standards are met.
- Assist with annual and mid‑year
appraisals for team members under your supervision.
- Ensure compliance with health,
safety, fire, and security regulations at all times.
- Maintain environmental awareness
and support sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments
to ensure smooth operations and strong working relationships.
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills with the
ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills for effective interaction with guests and staff.
- In‑depth knowledge of F&B service
standards and operational procedures.
- Ability to handle guest inquiries
and resolve issues efficiently.
- Flexibility to work shifts
including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience in a similar role
within a 5‑star hotel or high‑quality outlet.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the
same position.
- Exposure to all areas of F&B
service is an asset.
- Fluency in English; additional
languages are considered an advantage.
