Stores Porter

Job Summary

AX Hotels Qawra are seeking a reliable and hardworking Stores Porter to assist with receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory in. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to lift heavy items, and a team-oriented mindset to support daily operations efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all stores.
• Issuing of cleaning materials, stationary, disposable materials and all food items.
• Ordering all items against written purchase requests.
• Ensure all orders go through the Purchasing Officer with the correct documentation.
• Participate in stock-taking activities.
• Check and verify received goods, including quantity, weight and pricing.
• Guide and control suppliers and visitors entering the premises.
• Remain aware of firefighting and evacuation protocols.
• Collaborate with other departments and management.

Requirements:

• Currently residing in Malta.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Previous experience in stocking, inventory management, or a similar role is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work on your own and take decisions.
• Effective time management and ability to multitask.
