Food and Beverage Manager

Job Summary

Join the team at Verdala Wellness Hotel – AX Privilege. We are looking for a passionate Food & Beverage Manager to elevate our premium dining and wellness operations. In this role, you will inspire a dedicated team, maintain high service standards, and drive strong commercial results, all while creating truly unforgettable experiences for our luxury guests.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily food and beverage operations and ensure consistent service standards across all outlets.
• Achieve budgeted food and beverage sales, labour costs, profitability, and monthly forecasts.
• Handle all F&B inquiries and ensure timely follow‑up, including customer follow‑up calls.
• Coordinate all group, banquet, and event requirements with planners, including proposals, contracts, menus, attendance numbers, and billing accuracy.
• Support menu planning, pricing, sales promotions, mailings, and F&B marketing activities.
• Conduct regular competitive analysis and maintain updated departmental control procedures and manuals.
• Supervise daily administrative flow, including proposals, function contracts, payroll input, bar inventory summaries, and cash deposits.
• Maintain hotel credit policies and ensure correct billing for all functions.
• Attend weekly F&B and department head meetings and participate in Manager on Duty shifts.
• Ensure staff support during emergencies and maintain full knowledge of fire procedures. 
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar food and beverage management role.
• Postgraduate degree, bachelor’s degree, or three‑year diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
• Fluency in English.
• Proven experience in hotel food and beverage operations, including banqueting.
• Strong organisational, prioritisation, and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and POS systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Mature, pleasant, courteous, cooperative, and an enthusiastic team player.
• Flexible with working hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
