Security Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Security Manager. In this role, you will be leading a team of Security Officers, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all employees, clients, and visitors, AX Group. This role involves developing and implementing security protocols, managing security staff, and coordinating emergency responses.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve security policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.
• Lead, mentor, and oversee the Security team, ensuring effective performance and operational excellence.
• Design and maintain emergency response and crisis management procedures to safeguard employees, guests, visitors, and company assets.
• Conduct regular security audits, inspections, and risk assessments, recommending and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
• Coordinate and manage responses to security incidents, emergencies, fire alarms, and other critical situations.
• Maintain comprehensive records of security operations, incident reports, investigations, and follow-up actions.
• Partner with management to develop and deliver security awareness and health & safety training programmes.

Requirements:

• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar security management or supervisory role.
• Professional certification in Security Management or a related discipline will be considered an asset.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within a security operations environment.
• Sound knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, standards, and best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good level of computer literacy, including proficiency with standard business applications.
