Job Summary

Responsibilities:

• Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, masons, and equipment operators, with daily construction activities.
• Load, unload, transport, and store construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare, maintain, and clean construction sites, including debris removal and waste disposal.
• Operate basic hand and power tools in accordance with safety procedures and site instructions.
• Assist with the mixing, pouring, and placement of construction materials, including concrete and aggregates.
• Erect, maintain, and dismantle site structures such as barricades and access systems, where authorised.
• Comply with all Health & Safety regulations, site procedures, and PPE requirements, reporting any hazards or incidents immediately.
• Support site teams in achieving project targets and carry out other general labour duties as reasonably assigned by supervisors or site management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months' previous experience as a General Labourer or in a similar construction-related role.
• Proficiency in English (Mandatory)
• Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements and a commitment to following all site safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues in achieving project objectives.
• Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions from supervisors and site management.
