Job Summary

AX Hotels – Sliema properties are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter. The ideal candidate will be competent, hardworking, and possess strong communication skills. This role requires someone who can work independently and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:

• Perform furniture repairs and maintenance.
• Inspect and replace damaged frameworks, structures, and fixtures.
• Cut, fabricate, and install wooden joinery as required.
• Work with minimal supervision while adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• A good standard of education.
• Fluency in English.
• Proven carpentry skills with knowledge of wood properties and carpentry materials.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in operating portable tools and wood-cutting machinery.
• Knowledge of various paint application techniques.
• A valid driving license.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Flexibility to work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends.
• Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
