Job Summary:
As a Bellboy, you will play an essential role in delivering a warm and welcoming experience to guests. You will assist with luggage handling, provide directions and information about the hotel and surrounding area, and ensure that guests have a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role is ideal for someone with excellent interpersonal skills and a service-oriented attitude who can enhance the guest experience through attention to detail and courteous assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible presence at the reception desk or in the lobby, readily available to assist guests, colleagues, and visitors as needed.
- Efficiently manage the collection and delivery of guest luggage and equipment, ensuring timely service.
- Tag and label guest baggage securely, providing identification slips for easy retrieval.
- Assist guests with luggage during check-in and escort them to the front desk.
- Escort guests to their assigned rooms, ensuring luggage is properly placed in the room.
- Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness and adequate supplies and inform guests of available room amenities.
- Provide items on loan to guests as requested and collect these items before guest departure.
- Notify the Front Desk Cashier of any items given on loan that require a charge, ensuring accurate billing.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Previous hotel experience in a similar environment is preferred.
- Possession of a Skills Pass is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English required; knowledge of additional European languages is an asset.
- Dynamic, proactive, and able to work efficiently under pressure.
- Skills pass would be considered an asset.
